Single cask

Japanese Whisky

A single cask is a specific type of bottling where a malt or grain whisky is bottled from a unique cask, aged at least three years. In addition to being the purest expression of the influence of a cask type on the whisky, a single cask is always produced in a very limited number of bottles, which is why these bottlings are highly sought after by collectors.
