Sparkling

Sake

A sparkling version of Japan's most famous traditional drink, sparkling sake, like ordinary sake, can be found in all categories from junmai to daiginjo to ginjo. Like Champagne, the bubbles are obtained by adding sake lees at bottling to initiate a second fermentation in the bottle, and more rarely by simply adding carbon dioxide. The combination of sake flavors with the lightness of fine bubbles makes sparkling sake a new tasting experience to enjoy.
