Benizakura Craft Gin 9148 n°0303 is a craft gin created by the Benizakura distillery located in the very north of Japan on the island of Hokkaido and founded by the Liberty Hokkaido Whisky group.

Variation of the basic recipe n°0101, the version n°0303 contains three times more botanicals to express more intensely all the richness of its character. The tasting is thus more marked with a spicier, more woody and fruity taste.

The botanicals used in its recipe are: juniper berries, angelica, cinnamon, lemon peel, blueberry, lavender, cardamom, cloves, black and pink pepper.

The distillery's philosophy is to respect nature and the environment by using ingredients harvested locally in the Benizakura Natural Park such as Hidaka kelp, blueberries, daikon, lavender or shiitake mushrooms, or on the island of Hokkaido for the remaining botanicals.

Created by Hokkaido Liberty Whisky Inc., the distillery takes its name from the park in which it is located. For its craft gin, the objective is that it "become a souvenir to bring back from your trip to Hokkaido", as Hidekuni Hayashi, CEO of the company, points out.

With Uisuki, the memory of Hokkaido comes directly to you without even having to travel to Sapporo. Note that, as the name of the company suggests, it is highly possible that a Japanese whisky might come out from the Benizakura’s still in the coming years.
