Nikka Coffey Vodka

Nikka Coffey Vodka is the purest expression of Miyagikyo distillery's "Coffey Stills" that produce the grain whiskies incoming in the blended whiskies of the famous Japanese brand. The incredible aromatic palette ranging from citrus and herbaceous notes to spicy notes of cinnamon and cardamom, through gourmet aromas of coconut milk, almonds and dates. The creamy texture persists in the mouth while leaving notes of freshly cut grass and ripe pear.

With decades of experience in distilling white spirits but mostly whiskies, Nikka Whisky offers a Japanese vodka that is the fruit of the blend of a corn distillate and a malted barley distillate. Each spirits is distilled separately and then blended with the Chief Blender's know-how. The final mixture is perfected with minimal filtration using white birch coal to ensure precise balance and smooth texture.

The Coffey Stills

From the name of its inventor Aeneas Coffey, this traditional two-column still, named Coffey Still, produces quality grain whiskies originally intended for blended whiskies. Imported from Scotland in 1963, Nikka remained faithful to these traditional stills, which retain more character and give a distinct texture to modern and more efficient multi-column stills. Running these old stills requires real expertise, which Nikka continues to cultivate over the years.
