Its delicate evolution continues with notes of smoke and dark chocolate, adding intriguing depth. On the palate, this whisky is lively and intensely spicy, offering a tantalizing palette of flavors, with hints of ripe fruit jam and licorice. As the tasting progresses, the delicate peat comes to the fore, enriching the taste experience. The finish is long and rich, offering delicate notes of honey, heather and sweet spices, complemented by a pleasant vegetal freshness, reminiscent of chlorophyll, mingling with nuances of ash.

Nikka Pure Malt Black offers a subtle balance between fruit and peaty notes, revealing a rare complexity.
