This liqueur of yuzu, a small Japanese citrus fruit close to the lemon, is produced by the Ume No Yado Shuzo brewery which means "plum inn" in Japanese.

Made with fresh fruit macerated in sake instead of distilled alcohol, Ume No Yado Yuzushu liqueur has a delicate, tart freshness, enhanced by a perfect balance between the sweetness of sugar and the acidity of yuzu. With its low alcohol content, this liqueur is ideal for an original aperitif that will transport you to the land of the rising sun, and can be enjoyed neats, fresh, with ice or as ingredient in a cocktail.

Located not far from Nara, the ancient historical capital of the country and the cradle of sake, the brewery was founded in 1893 at the foot of Katsuragi Mountain in a region renowned for the purity of its waters. For more than 120 years, it has been producing premium sake and liqueurs made from various fruits such as peach, yuzu, plum, tangerine, apple, and even ginger.
