With an aromatic profile close to that of Bourbons, Toki is the most American of Japanese blends. For this creation, Shinji Fukuyo, the Chief Blender of the House, has used more characterful grain whiskies and in greater proportion.
The blend is built around 2 main components ; grain whiskies from Chita of course, but also single malts from Hakushu aged in American white oak barrels, in other words ex-Bourbon barrels. The Yamazaki distillery is also present with the selection of 2 single malts ; one aged in Bourbon casks and the other in Spanish oak casks, the famous sherry casks.
Ideal to be consumed as a highball, with sparkling water and lots of ice.

The brand Suntory Whisky
Founded in 1899 by Shinjiro Torii in the Osaka region, Suntory is today renowned for its whiskies, but above all it is a major food company, whose activity extends far beyond the borders of Japan. Thus, in France, the Suntory group owns well-known brands such as Orangina, Oasis, Pulco, Schweppes or May Tea.
However, if Suntory is strongly attached to the world of whisky, it is first of all because the group is a pioneer in the production and distribution of whiskies in Japan with, in particular, the creation of the first Japanese whisky distillery, from 1923: Yamazaki.
