Origin of Purity" sake is a creation of the Rihaku Shuzo Sake House founded in 1882 in the city of Matsue in Shimane Prefecture.

Very expressive on the nose, its intense aromatic profile reveals fruity notes of kiwi and lychee that linger on the palate in a creamy texture that also releases notes of licorice and pear.

A junmai ginjo class sake made from omachi rice, Rihaku "Origin of Purity" can be enjoyed chilled and is a perfect accompaniment to all grilled red meats as well as hard cheeses such as comté or beaufort.
