Distilled during the last year of production of the Hanyu distillery, this blend is composed of Japanese single malts aged for 15 years in different types of casks, including cognac, bourbon, hogshead, port pipe and puncheon.

The Hanyu distillery stopped its production in 2000 and closed its doors permanently in 2004. It is particularly known for its range called "playing cards series" whose 54 single casks are represented by a playing card.

The few remaining casks were recovered by Ichiro Akuto, grandson of the founder of the Hanyu distillery, to be stored in Chichibu. Rare and precious, each bottling of Hanyu single malt makes collectors panic as there are hardly any casks left.

Product limited to 1 bottles per order.
