Amahagan Mont Perat is a limited edition part of the Worlds Malts series that puts in spotlight the blending work of Japan's smallest craft distillery.

Inaugurated in 2016, the Nagahama distillery located in the heart of the Roman Beer brewery on the shores of Lake Biwa, offers a whisky with a sweet and fruity profile marked by the tannins transmitted during the aging in French red wine casks of the famous Chateau Mont Perat located in the Bordeaux region.

On the nose, the fruity flavors reminiscent of fresh orange and citrus fruits are accompanied by woody notes that assert themselves on the palate while leaving room for the gourmet aromas of red fruit cheesecake. The smooth, creamy texture carries through to a fine finish in which notes of lemon tea and whipped cream cake appear to leave a juicy, sweet impression.

This blended malt is a blend of new malts distilled on site in Japan with malts imported from abroad, bottled non chill filtered in order to keep a maximum of aromas developed during the ageing in French oak barrels used for the maturation of Chateau Mont Perat wines.

Product limited to 2 bottles per order.
