Produced by Takasago Shuzo located in the center of the island of Hokkaido in the north of Japan, Kokushi Muso Cocoo Junmai is an exceptional fine sake which has the particularity of having been filtered under an ice dome at -2°C.
Expressing a very fruity profile with aromas of white peach, this sake to drink fresh will be perfect for an aperitif or as an accompaniment to (raw) fish, vegetables or even fruits.
Takasago Shuzo produces pure and fresh sake inspired by the snowy landscapes characteristic of Hokkaido Island. The region's winter climate allows the use of an atypical filtration method consisting of filtering sake under ice domes rebuilt each winter, and the use of water from snowmelt for making sakes.
