Kurumazaka Yamahai Junmai Daiginjo is a sake from Yoshimura Hideo Shoten brewery founded in 1914 in Iwade, Wakayama Prefecture.

On the nose, this junmai daiginjo sake gives off fruity, grassy notes and a touch of nuts. On the palate, its silky texture accompanies a rich palette of complex flavors, enhanced by a pleasant touch of acidity.

Awarded in several competitions, Kurumazaka's top-class junmai daiginjo is a premium sake to be enjoyed chilled, and is a perfect match for vegetables and vegetarian dishes, as well as fruity desserts.

Located on the banks of the Kinokawa River, the brewery makes its sake using two traditional methods, Yamahai and Kimoto, which produce sharper sakes with more pronounced umami. These two techniques require more attention from the brewery's master blender, Toji.
