Ichiro's Malt & Grain World Blend Whisky Limited Edition is a blend of malt and grain whiskies from distilleries around the world, including the Chichibu distillery in Japan. 

Like Malt & Grain, the iconic blend of Ichiro's Malt range, the Malt & Grain World Edition Limited Edition follows the same philosophy of highlighting the art of blending. Indeed, Ichiro Akuto has carefully selected malt whiskies from different countries such as Scotland, Canada, the United States, and Chichibu in Japan, making this blend a "Japanese World Blend Whisky", as he likes to say, thus advocating transparency.

A blend of whiskies over 10 years old, this edition has the particularity of having a malt from the oldest stocks of the Chichibu distillery. It has a rich and complex profile expressing a wide variety of aromas and flavors such as candied pineapple, fresh mint, a light ashy smoke that lasts in a beautiful long and powerful finish.

Ichiro's Malt is a brand created in 2008 by Ichiro Akuto, founder of the Chichibu distillery and Venture Whisky, the company in charge of marketing the brand.


Ichiro Akuto, having recovered the remaining casks of Hanyu, his grandfather's distillery, has shown his imagination by proposing a very varied range from young single malts from Chichibu to blended malts from Double Distilleries or exclusive bottlings of Hanyu's single malts.
