Once again, the Ichiro's Malt brand unveils an exceptional whisky with the Ichiro's Malt & Grain Japanese Blended Whisky 2020. This new edition has been awarded at the World Whiskies Awards 2020 with the title of "Best Limited Edition Blend in the World".

Entirely composed of malt and grain whiskies from Japan, Ichiro Akuto the creator of this whisky used single malts from his distillery in Chichibu, but also rare and precious casks from the closed distilleries of Hanyu and Kawasaki that he was able to recover and store in Chichibu.

Hanyu, his grandfather's distillery, distilled only single malt, the last casks of which are now about twenty years old, while Kawasaki was a distillery entirely dedicated to the production of grain whisky.

Ichiro's Malt is a brand created in 2008 by Ichiro Akuto, founder of the Chichibu distillery and Venture Whisky, the company in charge of marketing the brand.


Ichiro Akuto, having recovered the remaining casks of Hanyu, his grandfather's distillery, has shown his imagination by proposing a very varied range from young single malts from Chichibu to blended malts from Double Distilleries or exclusive bottlings of Hanyu's single malts.
