The small distillery of Chichibu, located in the mountainous region of Saitama, is today one of the most highly regarded in the world. Its single malts expressing an atypical maturity are the fruit of the long artisanal work of the owner and passionate Ichiro Akuto.

This single cask distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2015 was exclusively aged in a Madeira wine barrel giving it a suave profile and an exceptional fruity freshness. On the palate, black fruits such as blackberry and blueberry dominate among a fruity and flowery bouquet and some aromas of malt and beer.

For this limited edition of only 308 bottles, Akuto san has appealed to the artist Tay Bak Chiang for the illustration of the collector label.
