Yamazaki Mizunara 2017 is a very limited edition of one of the best single malt in the world. The whisky created by Shinji Fukuyo Suntory Chef Blender is exclusively composed of single malts aged at least 18 years in Japanese Mizunara barrels. And to bring maturity, depth and complexity to the blend, a small amount of single malt aged for 50 years in a Mizunara cask was added to the final blend.

Its subtle and intense nose reveals woody aromas of oak bark, and spicy aromas of cinnamon and green pepper typical of Mizunara casks, but also sweet aromas of ripe yellow fruits. Yamazaki Mizunara 2017 will reveal all its aromatic power in the mouth with the appearance of fruity notes of orange marmalade and coconut in addition to woody and spicy aromas. Its rich and round texture allows it to take its time before disappearing leaving behind fruity notes of ripe fruits, and spicy notes of sandalwood and incense.

For this exceptional single malt, Suntory has chosen an Echizen paper label made in the Japanese tradition since almost 1,500 years. This paper is made of 100% cotton to reproduce the original expression and depth of Japanese paper. Yamazaki Mizunara 2017 is presented in a sublime collector wood box made from pieces of barrels used for the aging of Suntory whiskies.

Product limited to 1 bottles per order.
